Tom Muratore Signs Contract With USPBL’s Westside Woolly Mammoths

Cambridge, Mass. — Former Lesley Baseball standout, Tom Muratore (Mamaroneck, N.Y.), has signed a professional contract with the Westside Woolly Mammoths of the United Shores Professional Baseball League (USPBL).

Muratore has already made five appearances for the Mammoths, posting an ERA of 1.64 with a record of 0-1, with 11 strikeouts in 11 innings of work since the season began three weeks ago.

While at Lesley (2015-2018), Muratore made 50 appearances on the mound for the Lynx, finishing with a 27-14 record with 21 complete games. Additionally, Muratore added five saves in his career stat line compiling 280 innings pitched, 234 strikeouts, and an ERA of 3.50. Muratore served as volunteer assistant for Lesley baseball team this past season.
